I am not sure who uploaded these PDFs. All I know is I wish the whole of humanity would read these works. To say that reading them has changed my life would be a most magnificent lie. To detractors of these works, and skeptics (as I was one previously), look up the Wikipedia article and simply read the work. I do not necessarily support the publisher of these works now (the company/person who holds the copyright), and I do not believe anyone should have to pay for a divinely inspired piece of literature.
Pray to the Trinity and to Mother Mary for the salvation of your soul and the souls of all.

Subject: Life of Jesus & Mary & all the characters in His Life
Subject: Life of Jesus & Mary & all the characters in His Life
I purchased the 5 book set about 25 years ago and found it irresistible. I read it twice and then followed that with books 1 & 5 again. I even wrote a story via a free website named Storify and explained in simple terms how to download it. My explanation had over 100 hits. So I guess I was spreading the Gospel in the fullest sense possible. I recently downloaded it onto my new 2020, 27" iMac. With such a huge screen width I am able to read 2 pages at a time. The amazing thing about the package is that you don't have to bookmark where you are. Each time you continue the story on another day it opens up at the last page you read. I am now well into the third volume and I find the story so edifying that I keep saving sections of it to my word processor. I have learnt for instance that Jesus's Mother was conceived eternally of the Father. She was not immortal like all the rest of Mankind even though She was conceived Immaculate in the womb of Anne, Her mother. I have read & kept so many wonderful parables that Jesus preached to various groups of people as He travelled around Israel & elsewhere. The most recent one that I copied & kept on my word processor I called "The Three Roads". With masterly story telling Jesus explained using a parable how three different groups of people prepared for their death. The group that decided on living a holy life had to face many difficulties and temptations from Satan before they were rewarded with Heaven. The foolish group followed a glamorous & easy path that led to the abyss of Hell. Those who led a life between good & bad ended up in Purgatory. I recommend now that the readers off my review go to YouTube and view st faustina vision of the afterlife & also st faustina vision of purgatory. After this I will continue reading in a truly addictive fashion the amazing "Poem of the Man-God" written by a truly saintly woman, Maria Valtorta. Thank you Maria. After submitting this review I regretted that I had left out Jesus's extraordinary description of His Mother. Below is an extract from His description:
Yes, Mother, with Whom God, Immense, Sublime, Virgin, Uncreated, was pregnant and carried You like a most sweet burden, rejoicing at feeling You stir within Him, when with Your smiles He created the Universe! He laboriously gave birth to You to give You to the world, most gentle soul, born of the Deity to be the “Virgin”, the Perfection of Creation, the Light of Paradise, the Advice Who looking at You forgave Sin, because You alone, by Yourself can love as all Mankind put together cannot love. In You is the Forgiveness of God!
You are the Treatment of God, You are the caress of the Eternal Father on the wound that man inflicted on God! In You is the Salvation of the world, Mother of the Love Incarnate and of the granted Redeemer! The soul of My Mother! Merged in Love with My Father, I looked at You within Me, o soul of My Mother!... And Your splendour, Your prayer, the idea of being carried by You comforted Me forever and ever for My destiny of sorrow and inhuman experience of what the corrupted world is for the most Perfect God.
Thank You, Mother! When I came I was already full of Your consolation, I descended perceiving You alone, Your perfume, Your song, Your love... Joy, My joy!

I remember back in 1991 my mom lent me book 1 and I presumed it was another heavy theology book that she previously gave me. My abusive husband was in the hospital and being Saturday, I picked up the book and WOW. I couldn't get enough of it and read it from cover to cover 5 times. Mom had the second volume and again I devoured it.
What I gained was I got to know Jesus, Mary, Joseph, the Apostles and friends, mentioned in the Bible, but in a more deep way. Learning about their personalities, particularly the Apostles, and how they grew, except Judas, in goodness. I learned the true horror of Jesus's passion, as I was under the misinformation that Jesus and Mary were protected by the Father. The exact opposite was case, they both went into their passions willingly and suffered spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically. A total offering was given. Thank You Jesus.

Subject: What I was looking for
Subject: What I was looking for
I used to read the bible in middle school quite a lot and enjoyed it but always wanted more. I was always disappointed about not knowing what happened between these great stories in the gospel; who and what did he see when he traveled; how did he interact with his apostles; what about Martha and Mary; and, what about our Holy Mother herself (spoiler alert: Mary Magdalene's conversion is awesome)? I prayed to God if it was his will to show me what happened in between stories in the gospel.
When I was about 15 my mother only asked for one thing for her birthday, the 5-volume set of the Poem of The Man-God. Never heard of it & didn't even care. All I knew was that it was pricey. Anyway, the books finally came and my mother devoured them. I thought I would pick one up and that-was-that. I've never stopped for the last 40 years re-picking them up to start over. They are amazing. I try to share them with most everyone I meet but still have yet for anyone else to pick them up except my brother but I will say, it has everything; suspense, drama, action, LOVE (of course). It's just the best.
TRUE STORY: I somehow lost Volume 1. Broke my heart. and I prayed that I would get it back or get a new one. Years later I am in Goodwill store with my Uncle and I didn't even want to be there but I stopped for him. The store was very large and had no walls so you could see clear to the back wall. If you've ever been to a Goodwill or a deep discount store, you know what I am describing. Anyway, I walk in the door and there it was, clear on the other side of the store, in a vast sea of books the Volume 1 of the Poem of the Man God spine stuck out to me like I had tunnel vision. From across the store, I couldn't see that it was the first volume but I knew before I even took the next step that it was the volume I was looking for! :-)

This is the most beautiful books I ever read. The writer is very generous to describe the most unnoticeable details like the flowers in the kitchen of the Blessed Mother, the color of walls and design of clothes and etc... These books made me experience what it feels like following Jesus on the road. It's like "Flying House" or "Super Book". My spiritual growth will never be fruitful without Poem of the Man-God. If you want to love, you must learn, the more you know the more you love, the more you love the more you can serve.
I'm also guilty reading it more than once, I think up to my last breathe I will continue reading these books because every time you read those chapters it will give you new discoveries and excitement. Hmmmm... This will make you fall in love with God and all the characters in the life of Jesus. Thank you for making it free for all of us. =) I'm very grateful to you =)

Subject: Six metaphysical poems written from 1969 and 2019 which may be relevant to The Poem of The Man-God
I was first introduced to this fascinating work ‘The Poem of The Man – God a few years ago and it answered a lot of theological questions for me.
I was determined to somehow bring this priceless work to a wider audience as I was astonished at the number of people (clergy mainly!) who have never heard of this work!
On going through a collection of my own work (written over the last fifty years) I found six poems which summed up the essence of the central theme of ‘The Poem of The Man – God’.
Notes on the six poems aforementioned are as follows:
(From Creation to Golgotha – These six poems prefigure the first “six days” of creation.):
(1) Creation: All physical matter in the heavens, earth, and space, are created – animal, vegetable and mineral.
(2)Genesis: All humankind is created.
(3) Kismet: All humankind meet their soul mate be it husband, wife, single, or priesthood.
(4)Odyssey: The journey of all humankind through their allotted time span.
(5)Magi: The three astronomers who made the journey to the birth place of The Christ and who witnessed His birth.
(6) Golgotha: The death of The Christ for the expiation of all the sins of humankind until the end of time.

The entire six poems (including Epilogue/Prologue and explanatory notes etc was presented to my wife Imelda on St. Valentine’s Day 2019. The work was also presented to her as an additional advance gift towards our 40th Wedding anniversary which comes up later on this year!!

The Church is slow to accept, but is not forbidden to read, and everyone who reads becomes more loving to everyone, and blessed, because this is the words of Jesus dictated, and the visions described.

A visionare of Medjugorje Marjia asked to the Virgin Mary about Maria Valtorta and She said "Yes, you can read, the writings are true!".
Also St. Padre Pio when her spiritual daughter asked him if is advisable to read these new books he said "No, I wouldn't advise it, but I command you!"

I can not give you scientific proves about the truthfulness of the authenticity of the originality of these books, but if you read bible a lot, You will know that these books are as it says.
I have read 4 volumes, and still read the fifth volume now. and I can tell you that there is no deviation from the bible, instead it give you clarity about Jesus teachings/doctrines, social-politics condition at that time, detail characters of apostles, the importance of Mary Jesus Mother for apostles/disciples, etc. And I dare to say it is true.

I was novice when our mistress talked about this book... I pondered it but I did not have a chance to read that time but when I returned in the Philippines I discovered that we have three volumes in our library. I had finished to read the 1st volume I could say that it is an extension of the bible. It gives me more chance to know Jesus more as being Man and God.I like the book and I do encourage my co-sisters to read it. It brings you to conversion.
Thank you because we have found the 3rd and the 4th volume in this site, I mean thru this library. Thank you very much for your concern in sharing this books. We really wish to have these two volumes and now it is granted. Thak you Lord!

It's been an immense joy to have found these books. They have changed my life in ways I can't describe. I have read all of the volumes many, many times, and have read them out loud from beginning to end to my children. I've also been fortunate enough to acquire copies of the Notebooks, and several other Valtorta books.
The Lord also made it possible for me to help in the project a bit, because I was asked to translate Maria Valtorta's "Prayers" from French into English. Deo Gratias.
For those who don't know, there are quite a few more books circulating which have information not contained in Poem. They are *all* worth acquiring and reading. A web search will help reveal what is available.
Finally, for the nay-sayers - Maria Valtorta's cause has been accepted by the "Congregation for the Causes of Saints". Finally!

I can't begin to say what these books have done for my spiritual growth. The heart of the Law is in these books. And the way to freedom is in these books as are in our gospels. These books made me take a very hard look at myself and humbled me. Mary's and Joseph's "yes" in the face of doubt. The humility of those entrusted with God made man is astounding. Humility vs. Pride. Conquering the very first sin. Exposing Love in it's truest form. Combating everything that modern society uses to allure the masses. Some of the lowest ratings will come from the theologians. My opinion is this: does it raise your spirit? Does it
humble you? Does it bring a desire in your heart to be a truer Christian? This book will do that for you. I can't give it five stars. I would give it 20. Read it! Live it! And love the Word of God!

I completely agree with the "Description." This work is simply a magnificent expansion and explanation of the Word of God. I also would give anything to see each person on earth read this work. Please do not listen to the detractors. Pope Pius XII said, "Every person should read this book." They have truly greatly deepened my faith and confidence in Jesus Christ and made the Bible come alive in a beautiful way impossible to explain. No new teachings, just those of the Bible, but so beautifully explained. And like the Bible, each time you read them, they become even more beautiful.

The greatest set of books ever written! Good men gravitate to the writings of those among us who have earned a reputation for wisdom. To ignore the contribution of Maria Valtorta is a testament to our present moral depravity. She wrote under the weight of an excruciating physical and emotional affliction. I consider it a privilege to have read and reread this Work. It is, in my opinion, one of the strongest proofs that God still acts among us!

A gift from Heaven! It sort of allows one to travel back in time and space and be thus able to firsthand see and hear Jesus walking and preaching 2000 years ago in Palestine. I can't see how a true lover of Christ may want to waste such a unique time-travel opportunity with their Beloved!

Let me honestly say these books changed my life. In them you see Jesus in such a simple, human, and understandable way, that it is impossible not want to follow such a person. At first I was cautious about these, and I read them looking for things which would contradict the Bible, but after literally months of reading they only confirm the Bible and even explains it many times. Do yourself a favor and read them: you'll find a Jesus like you never imagined he could be.
